DC Automatic Voltage Regulator

AC to DC Automatic Voltage Regulator

AC to DC Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)

A fundamental part of managing power when converting Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC) in a regulated voltage requirement condition, the DC AVR ensures a steady power flow for various applications. At Innotec Power, our Automatic Voltage Regulator seamlessly works alongside our PMGs (Permanent Magnet Generators), efficiently converting AC to DC while maintaining a precise regulated and steady DC voltage output. This reliability ensures stable power for industries such as Mobile Power Generation, Specialized Utility Vehicle, and diverse applications requiring consistent power supply.

Voltage stabilization for DC systems

The need for voltage stabilization in DC systems arises from the critical requirement of maintaining a stable voltage output regardless of fluctuations in the input power. This is where our DC Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) comes into picture. Take, for instance, an input varying between 46 VAC and 110 VAC can be converted into DC output with voltage fixed at 56 VDC for charging a battery pack at 48 VDC nominal. This precise tuning ensures the output voltage meets the specific parameters required for diverse applications like Specialized Utility Vehicle, Mobile power systems, Military & Defence, Hybrid Vehicle, etc. We can provide a range of voltages for your DC system which include a standard of nominal 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 72 VDC, 96 VDC, 240 VDC, 400 VDC & custom voltages. For more information on the features, characteristics and custom voltage offerings of our Automatic Voltage Regulators, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Capable of handling variable frequency inputs in the range of 20-500 Hz, our DC AVR efficiently converts these diverse frequencies into a stable and regulated direct current (DC) output.

We’ve refined the performance of our DC Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) to ensure an exceptionally low ripple in the output. Through careful design and precise engineering, we’ve successfully reduced the ripple in our AVR output to as low as 1-2%.
